What's different about BCG Sydney
Sydney is one of the five offices in BCG's Australia–New Zealand graduate system, and recruiting runs at the system level, not per office: you rank up to two office preferences, and to be considered for ANZ your first choice must be Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Canberra, or Auckland. Two online screens — a case assessment, then a separate numerical assessment — come before first-round case interviews, and final-round interviews are held the week after round one.
Recruiting note: Prep providers report graduate applications opening in January and closing by late February or early March; by July 2026, BCG's own page showed graduate applications closed. The application is one combined document — cover letter, CV, and full grade transcripts. Eligibility is strict: Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or Australian permanent residency. Candidates shortlisted for first-round case interviews are invited to a BCG Case Study Workshop, which the firm runs to help you prepare for the format.
