What can I practise in the free Full Solve Mock sample?
Try a free 10-minute Sea Wolf opening site before the full sitting. Full CaseStar practice combines Red Rock and Sea Wolf for 65 minutes of game time, or adds Sustainable Future Lab for 85 minutes. Untimed instructions are additional. These are our practice configurations, not predictions of your real assessment’s tasks or duration.
How is this different from practising each task separately?
The mock carries you through the selected task sequence with untimed instructions between tasks and a combined review at the end. It tests sustained focus and uses your confirmed work to identify a first improvement. It does not predict a real assessment outcome.
Which duration should I choose?
Our two-task practice option has 65 minutes of game time; adding Sustainable Future Lab makes 85, with instructions outside those clocks. Your real invitation may include different timing or transition allowances. Use its instructions and recruiter guidance rather than treating our practice duration as an official specification.
Does my practice score predict the real assessment result?
No. Feedback uses CaseStar’s practice model. It helps you review your decisions and identify skills to practise; it is not McKinsey’s scoring formula or a prediction that you will pass.
Can I use CaseStar or other tools during the real Solve assessment?
No. Practise beforehand, then close CaseStar and other preparation tools. McKinsey’s published integrity rules prohibit outside assistance and tools, pre-prepared notes and recording or screenshots during Solve, except for accommodations approved by McKinsey. Follow your invitation and the current official rules.
